Cotumo has been establishing his reputation as a well known DJ in Berlin since 2004 with his DJ-sets at Clubs like the WMF, Arena or Ritter Butzke and at many festivals in and around Berlin. He has also spun records at parties in London, Wales, Turin, Graz, Zurich and Moscow and is also known for his radio broadcasts on stations like Deepmix.ru, Proton Radio, RTS.FM and many more. Since 2008 Cotumo has intensified his passion for producing his own music. His first solo production ‘Underkill EP’ appeared in May 2009 on 3rd Wave Music.
Nowadays Cotumo concentrates his energie on his collaboration with The Ascent: AKA AKA. Under contract with Oliver Koletzki?s label Stil vor Talent, March 2009 saw their debut ‘Voegeln EP ‘ released and supported by artists like Dubfire, Claude VonStroke and Troy Pierce. Their 2nd SvT release appeared in August 2009 and was played several times by Richie Hawtin and charted by Adam Beyer. Besides the upcoming EP on Pentagonik you can expect remixes for Oliver Koletzki, Philip Bader&Niconé, Alex Young and Shemian, the last one on their own label Burlesque Musique. Besides their prosperous releases AKA AKA played various live and djsets in cities like Moscow, Turin, Madrid, Zürich, Hamburg, Berlin and many more…
